DMA Global™ --The Story

In 1998, I started at a large international staffing firm knowing very little about what the industry was about. I quickly found out that it was an incredibly competitive and lucrative field. In order to be a top performer, you needed to be extremely hard working, committed to the trade, intelligent, professional and confident enough to connect hiring managers and the best available candidates in a timely fashion. If you were able to do this you were rewarded with a paycheque and sometimes a commission.
This was becoming an interesting journey for me as I transitioned to another large international firm that promised an even more competitive reward model that recognized top performers. There too I learned quite a bit about how some top performers worked at their trade.
I decided to take a bit of a turn in my career after six quite successful and enjoyable years in the recruiting world to start a professional coaching business. It started off fairly well and then one day a few months into this company the phone started ringing and newly referred hiring managers were asking for me to help them locate best available candidates. It forced me to stop and reflect on the amount of time and effort it would take to effectively undertake the searches. I am firm believer that if you are focusing on too many things you are not going to excellent at anything.
DMA Canada was born! I started my journey towards becoming the absolute best Professional Recruiting firm for my hiring managers and candidates. That meant that I needed to spend all of my energy building and refining processes that would make DMA Canada and respected firm.
Through the years, I was often asked if individuals could partner with me. In my experience, buying into a partnership at an existing firm can be very expensive upfront and the ROI may be quite risky. Even though you will share the profits, you will most probably be forced to deal with existing arrangements such as leases, employees, overhead, processes and traditions. Exiting such arrangements may also be a difficult process. I wanted to make available a program that would make it fair for a Top Biller to be in a position to be successful right from the start.
DMA Global™ was official launched in 2015.
We unveiled the DMA Profiler™ – SureMatch System™.
I set out to build a framework and business system that I would sign and be a part of if I were again looking to enter the Professional Recruiting business as another option to starting my own firm from scratch or buying into an existing firm as a partner.
It has been an exciting and beneficial journey up to now. I have always been blessed with incredible teachers, coaches, hiring managers and candidates along the way and without you this would not be a reality.
